The 10-day High Light of Nepal tour begins upon your arrival in Kathmandu. The tour officially commences with the scenic mountain flight to Everest (8848 m). You will witness Everest, along with Lhotse, Makalu, and numerous peaks during the tour. The day ends with a brief tour of UNESCO-designated sites inside Kathmandu city, namely Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

The next day, you’ll embark on a tour to explore the UNESCO-designated sites in the neighboring Patan and Bhaktapur cities. Afterward, you’ll drive 148 km south of Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park. A UNESCO designated site, Chitwan is a protected region and home to the Royal Bengal tiger and One-horned Rhino. After exploring the lush tropical forests, indigenous culture, and wildlife of Chitwan, you’ll advance west to the city of Lumbini. Lumbini is a historical city renowned as the birthplace of Gautam Buddha.

The UNESCO-designated Mayadevi Temple, Peace Pagoda, and numerous other stupas are the highlights of this tour. After completing the journey in Lumbini, you’ll drive 169 km north to the touristic city of Pokhara. An ultimate getaway, Pokhara boasts numerous UNESCO-designated sites along with adventure activities such as cycling, boating, paragliding, caving, zip-lining, etc.

You’ll indulge in the Pokhara city tour along with an early morning drive to Sarangkot (1600 m) to enjoy the beautiful sunrise and magnificent panorama of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Dhaulagiri peaks. The tour ends in Kathmandu. You can undertake the tour anytime throughout the year, however, spring (Mar-Jun) and autumn (Sep-Nov) guarantee the best weather and accessibility.

    Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, one of our representatives will warmly receive you and bring you to your hotel. The checking-in is followed by an exploration of the city and a brief introduction to the tour. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

      You’ll wake up early today to catch a tour mountain flight to Everest. The 2 hr mountain flight takes you close to Mount Everest into the Himalayas. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), Makalu (8463m), and other smaller peaks in the Mahalangur Himalaya range up close. After the mountain flight, you’ll embark on a half-day sightseeing tour of the historical Kathmandu Valley. Explore the popular historic landmarks; Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, and Swayambhunath. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

        Today, you’ll complete the other half of the Kathmandu Valley tour. You’ll drive east to the city of Bhaktapur. The historical city of Bhaktapur was formerly a royal estate and the capital of Kathmandu valley presided by the Malla Kingdom. You’ll explore the 55-windowed palace, NaytapolaTemple, and many other cultural sites before driving to another historical city of Patan. This palace vicinity includes an old palace, one of the largest Krishna temples, a courtyard, and a few other temples. You'll explore the palace turned into a museum before heading back to your hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

          Today, you’ll embark on a road journey to the south of Nepal. The 148km road journey will go through the spiraling hills along the Trishuli River to the forested area of Chitwan. Chitwan National Park is the oldest and the largest national park in Nepal and is home to the endangered species of the Royal Bengal Tiger and One-horned Rhinoceros. The road journey may last around 5hr. You’ll check in into one of the jungle lodges inside the National Park area. Overnight stay at a resort in Chitwan.

            You’ll embark on a nature-filled journey inside the Chitwan National Park. It is the first national park in Nepal and also has adopted one of the most successful protection programs in the world. One-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal Tiger, Gharial, and many other endangered species of wildlife including over 500 species of birds have recognized the national park as their home. You go on a jungle safari of the lush forests and can go on a boat ride in the Rapti River later in the day. Overnight stay at a resort in Chitwan.

              After completing the tour of Chitwan, you’ll embark on a 200 km road journey to the west of Nepal. Lumbini, a Buddhist pilgrimage site, is popular for being the birthplace of the Gautam Buddha. Mayadevi temple is one of the popular tourist landmarks in the area. Another tourist attraction in the area is the Ashoka Pillar built by Emperor Ashoka in 3rd BCE. The numerous Buddhist stupas built by Buddhist nations are another highlight of the area along with the Peace Pagoda. Lumbini is considered one of the most important UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Nepal. Overnight stay at Lumbini.

                You’ll embark on a road journey to the northeast of Lumbini to Pokhara City. The 169km long road journey will be completed within 5hr 30min. You pass through the lush tropical forest of Terai to the populated area of Pokhara city. Pokhara is a popular tourist destination that also serves as the gateway to Annapurna Conservation Area. Phewa Lake is the largest among the lakes in Pokhara. The City of Lakes also offers a variety of cultures to be experienced at the Lakeside. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.

                  You’ll make an early morning drive to Sarangkot (1600m), a small hill station located on the outskirts of Pokhara. The scenic hill station boasts the popular sports of paragliding and zip-lining. You will witness the beautiful sunrise from the top of Sarangkot including the panoramic views of Dhaulagiri (8167m), Annapurna massif, Machhapuchhre (6997m), and Manaslu (8163m). Succeeding the Sarangkot visit, you head on to explore the remaining destinations in the vicinity of Pokhara You’ll embark on a complete guided tour of the Pokhara city. Pokhara offers multiple adventure-filled activities. You can indulge in boating at Phewa Lake, take up cycling, or visit popular tourist places such as Davis Falls, Mahendra Cave, Gurkha Museum, mountain museum, and UNESCO designated Peace Pagoda. The availability of great diners, bars, and shops allows easy shopping and relaxation. You can also choose to visit the popular Bat Cave located close to Pokhara city. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pokhara.

                    Today, you’ll drive to Kathmandu. While leaving Pokhara, the magnanimous sights of Annapurna I (8091m) and Machhapuchhre (6997m) will bid you farewell. You’ll drive along the Trishuli River through the spiraling hills of Nepal back to Kathmandu. Once in Kathmandu, you can rest or shop for souvenirs along the way.
