The 7-day tour begins in Kathmandu. After your arrival, you’ll embark on a full-day tour of the historical Kathmandu city. You’ll witness numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites and cultural monuments during the tour. The next day, you’ll drive up to Sundarijal which lies 25km north of Kathmandu city. Sundarijal serves as the gateway to Shivapuri National Park. You’ll begin the trek and advance through the lush forest and streams of the National Park. You’ll reach Chisapani, a quaint and discreet village just above the National Park. From Chisapani, you’ll head 12km northeast to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a popular hill station popular for its cool weather and magnificent views. After enjoying the beautiful sunrise from the local watchtower along with the panorama of Everest (8848m), Manaslu (8156m), and DorjeLakpa (6966m), you’ll head southeast to another popular hill station of Dhulikhel. The small hill town is popular for its old settlement, temples, and scenic getaways. From Dhulikhel, you’ll drive 12km down to Namo Buddha. Namo Buddha is a popular Buddhist stupa located atop a small hill. It is considered one of the most religious Buddhist sites south of the Himalayas and boasts a rich folk legend. After exploring the stupa and the locality, you’ll drive back to Kathmandu. Spring (March-June) and autumn (September-November) guarantee the best weather and accessibility.
