This is the very first day of your trek and it begins with a short drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. Nayapul is the starting point of the trek from where you will begin the walk. You hit the trail as you pass through lush green forests and traditional villages along the route. You can witness an occasional glimpse of the mountains as you trace your steps to Ulleri. 

Ulleri is a traditional Magar village where you can witness and experience the culture, traditions, and lifestyle of the local communities. After a walk of around 5 to 6 hours, you will reach Ulleri and spend the night there. Overnight stay in Ulleri.

Today, you will head to Ghorepani from Ulleri. Ghorepani is a village situated right beneath Poon Hill. After walking for a few hours on the forested trail, you will reach traditional settlements and then continue the uphill walk on stairs. Continuing the walk, you will arrive in Ghorepani village after a few more hours of walk. Overnight stay in Ghorepani village.

It is a big day for you today as you will be hiking to the Poonhill vantage point from Ghorepani. The walk begins early in the morning so that you would not miss the majestic sight of the sunrise. After a few hours of walking, you will reach Poonhill where you get to see the first ray of sun hitting the snow-peaked mountains.
