Langtang Valley Trek

Recently I done wilderness Langtang valley trek in Nepal with local tour operators Himalayan Recreation. That was our 3rd visited in Nepal after 3 years, Our first travel were before almost 10 years for Annapurma base camp trek, and we did incredible Everest Base camp trek during our second visit. And finally we figure out to do trekking in Langtand.
This time our trip was even better than before because a guide provided from company is excellent for each and every condition. He knows things around Langtand. We had spectacular views of Himalayas which made us breathtaking once. Everything’s was well organized by Himalayas Recreation, Accommodation during trekking was very basic but we enjoyed to stay in there. Food was very healthy, somewhere trekking trails are reconstruction and local peoples providing them pronouncement to make better way for trekkers.
Now I would like to recommend you all for Nepal trekking in Langtang and if you choose your guide from Himalayan Recreation you will get better service, thank you so much team !!!

Amazing adventure trekking EBC and Gokyo Lakes with our Guide Varat, aka The Man!

My girlfriend and I decided to arrange our Nepal trekking experience with Himalayan Recreational after reading positive reviews online.

Bishnu helped us formulate an itinerary for our desired trek via email and when we finally got to Kathmandu we were introduced to our wonderful guide Varat.

Over the 18 days of our planned trek Varat was a very caring and attentive guide looking after our every need and finding us good accommodation each night during the busy trekking season. Varat is extremely knowledgable about the EBC/Gokyo area and has trekked in the region for a number of years, he kept us well informed about what each day would hold and the planned route and structure for the next day's walk.

If you are thinking of doing a trek in Nepal but unsure which of the many companies to choose from then look no further! You can't go wrong with Himalayan Recreational and request Varat as your guide, you will be pleased you did!

Everest Base camp, EBC and Gokyo Lake Chola Pass Trekking

Our 17 Day in Nepal was one of the best times in our life. We chose this Everest Base camp, EBC and Gokyo Lake Chola Pass Trekking packages from Himalayan Recreation on the advice of Mr Bishnu. Before we were just looking for Everest Base camp but my friend want to go to Gokyo Lake I had a dream to go to EBC sand I was afraid of Chola pass (5400m), when Bishnu convinced me that won't matter then I confirmed this trip with them and now I find it was my right decision. it was our first adventure journey and did not know much about Nepal so we follow Himalayan Recreation and they did all for our betterment. A guide provided by the company was understandable, Helpful and flexible. And familiar with there local people, which made us secure in Nepal.
On the second day, we started to see a great view of mountains including Everest all the way up and down. Most recommend please is Kalapattha 5555m, and Gokyo Lake on this trip but the Base camp was not as we expected because there was cloudy.
All the thanks to the team for such a wonderful trip, will be back soon!

Most Amzing Trip That I Ever Had

The trip to Evereast Base Camp is hard but everyone should try. The view is unforgettable and the people in Nepal are all very nice. To travel with Himalayan Recreation is one of the best decisions I made in this trip. They arranged all the Tea Houses and meals for us and our lovely guide Suresh prepared fruit dishes for us every night during the trip. The fruits are very good supports in the mountain. Our guide not only gave us the right directions but also shared a lot of info of the peaks and Nepal cultures all the way along.

In this trip we finished the EBC camp and also hiked back to Lukla. Without their help, I don’t know if I can finish it. Himalayan Recreation is a reliable traveling arrangement company to choose if you are interested in the Everest Base Camp Trekking.

Absolutely Amazing Experience with Himalayan Rec!!

I was part of a group of three that trekked to Everest Base Camp in November 2019 with Himalayan Rec. We came across this company through some research on TourRadar, a popular platform for a lot of trekking tours.

Himalayan Rec had great reviews and offered exactly what we were looking for. We reached out to several different trekking companies prior to booking but felt that Himalayan Rec had the quickest response time, thoroughly answered all of our questions/concerns and provided flexibility, all while offering one of the best prices. One thing to note is that most of the EBC trekking companies provide more or less the same services, over the same route, with the same facilities but tend to charge largely different prices. The price we paid Himalayan Rec was very transparent and we felt that we got a fantastic bang for our buck.

I was initially in contact with the company’s manager, Ashok. Even though we did not start the trek until a few days after our arrival in Nepal, Ashok and his team went above and beyond to accommodate us as soon as we landed in Kathmandu. They provided us with airport pick-up service, helped us navigate around the city and provided a wealth of information to make us feel more than welcome.

We trekked with the company’s guide Santosh, who quickly became a close member of our trekking group. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, experienced, well-known around the tea houses (I cannot stress the importance of this) and quickly tended to anything we needed (extra blankets, water, equipment, etc.). We even had an emergency change of plans mid-trek which required us to return to Kathmandu a day early but Santosh was easily able to accommodate the changes all while getting us up to EBC. He booked us a helicopter out of EBC, an earlier flight out of Lukla, set us up with a last minute hotel in Kathmandu, and provided complementary car service back to the airport.

All in all, I am more than pleased with the experience I had with Himalayan Rec. They went above and beyond to ensure that everyone in our group had an unbelievable experience. I would 100% recommend their services on your trekking adventure. Whatever you are looking for, they’ll be sure to deliver.

Everest Base Camp Trek - October, 2019

I just wanted to thank you all at Himalayan Recreation Trekking for a fantastic experience. My son and I have just returned home recently from a group trek to Everest Base Camp, from September 30 to October 13, 2019, with your wonderful guide Raj. Your company looked after all of our needs brilliantly, including accommodation at Hotel Nepalaya, a great trek to base camp, a fascinating tour of Kathmandu and a very enjoyable cultural dinner and show to finish off our time in Nepal.

Our guide Raj did an excellent job of helping us along every step of the way. He was so helpful in making sure that we got our flights to Lukla, including the bus trip to Ramechhap. He looked after us at all times, ensuring that we were safe and well and able to fully enjoy the experience. Raj is a great asset to your company. He was great. The porters also did a great job in helping us with all of our gear. We appreciate everything that they did for us.

We will definitely recommend Himalayan Recreation Trekking to our friends and maybe one day visit your wonderful country of Nepal again with your help!

To Everest Base Camp

Booked the EBC and Gokyo lakes with Himalayan Recreation. Overall a great experience and everything went seamlessly! Full information was provided via website link when booked and all email questions prior to arriving in Nepal answered promptly. I made it to EBC but due to Altitude symptoms I couldn't continue over the Pass to get to the lakes and had to make my way down instead. Our guide ‘Narayan’ was accomodating and our tailored our return so we got to do different trails. Our porter ‘Arjun’ worked hard and our main pack was always there before we were. Really happy with them both. Off the Mountains ‘Ashok’ had everything under control and was available at all times to answer our questions. As well as double checking with other parties that all was going as expected. You wont go wrong booking with Himalayan Recreation!

Great company

We did 11-day trek to EBC with Narayan as a guide and Rahul as a porter. It was a great trip, guys knew their job. We never had any problems with accommodation or food on the trek (day before our start all flights to Lukla were cancelled creating overcrowding on the trail). We strongly recommend Narayan as a guide.
Should say that we have some vulnerability before trek. Company didn't provide any information about the trek in advance (no welcome, no itinerary, tips etc. - all the info that can be helpful) so we need to spend a lot of time in the Internet. This was not a first time we travel in different countries and usually companies were providing good detailed package about all aspects of the trip. Time to time we asked questions online and were receiving answers - but very short, not detailed. This matter was discussed with company manager Ashok when we arrived in Kathmandu and he assured us the company will develop a guide.
