Langtang Trip

Just completed the Langtang Trip with Himalayan Recreation. Guide was Ramis and Porter was Boudi. Both were excellent.

I organised the tour from Australia and went solo as a 34 year old.

The company met me at the airport, organised all transfers, tours, accomodation, food etc. I enjoyed not having to make decisions!

Langtang is a really beautiful region. You get diversity of landscapes and opportunity to go up summits around 5,000m. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Trek was great at 5 days compared to the longer ones which I didn’t have time for. Not many tourists as well which was useful.

Many people do the trek without guide and porter but I enjoyed having them to show me things, negotiate non tourist rates, not carry a bag and as companionship. They organised sightseeing and taxis for me in Kathmandu as well.

Would definitely use this company again.

15 jours de trek extraordinaires

We had 15 days trek with Bishnu's team (Ashok + Santosh). Everything was very well organized and exactly how it was expected. It was my firs visit in Nepal.
I was with 3 of my friends and we really spent great times with beautiful landscapes and they help us to meet people from Nepal...We had some meals with people from Langtang that was so great.
Now we are in love with Nepal and we will come back for other adventures. And we will do it with that friends team from Himalayan Recreation.

Tsum Valley and Manaslu circuit and Trek

Recently returned from a trek in the Manaslu circuit and Tsum Valley and used Himalayan Recreation Treks service. Some friends and i used this company two years ago for a short Kathmandu and Pokhara trip and were really impressed with the friendly and professionalism service, so we elected to go with the company again for Manaslu. The price are reasonable and the service was outstanding. Bishnu, the director, is great and the team we had on the trek was very attentive and friendly. This company offers a lot of different treks and trips on a nice website. I ll be using Himalayan Recreation again when i eventually get back to Nepal.
